On the western fringes of the Creag Meagaidh plateau are the two less visited Munros Beinn a'Chaorainn and Beinn Teallach. These hills are less visited than their near neighbours of the Creag Meagaidh circuit perhaps due to limited parking and just being on the fringe making a five Munro day too much of a challenge. Lower down the walk can be boggy in the wet ground but once height has been gained it is a lovely walk and I particularly enjoy the spectacular ridgeline of Beinn a'Chaorainn.

Due to limited parking at the start\end of this walk, we will meet in the Creag Meagaidh Nature Reserve car park and transfer into as few vehicles as possible before driving to the start point. See below for a Google maps link.

Why not make a weekend of it and include Saturdays walk which completes all the Creag Meagaidh plateau Munros.
