Our specialist training services are designed to meet the needs of teams and individuals looking to gain qualifications or competence in all forms of first aid, moving and handling, and fire safety training. We also offer specific first aid training courses approved by the Scottish Health and Safety Executive as well as courses in first aid for babies and children, Anaphylaxis Management and Oxygen Therapy.

We offer Health and Safety courses and courses in Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Persons

Our First Aid courses, Health and Safety courses, Safeguarding courses and our Mental Health First Aid courses are Regulated by First Aid Awards and are credit rated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority for Scottish clients and Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) for the other home nations.

We can advise you on the requirements needed to comply with First Aid within the Health and Safety Executive guidelines and we are accredited by the Scottish Youth Football Association to deliver Sports Injury First Aid courses for coaches and club members.

Experienced, knowledgeable and local training expertise

Your course can be delivered in our Fife training premises or we can come to you. Our knowledgeable trainers, who have invaluable practical experience are happy to supply an Enhanced Disclosure Certificate if required. As well as our standard courses as listed, we offer bespoke courses to meet your company's needs.

Lead trainer Allan’s career so far has seen him serve 31 years with the emergency services. During his time with Police Scotland, training in a wide range of disciplines was an important and integral part of his role. In charge of learning and development, Allan was responsible for training all staff in law, IT, self defence, equality and diversity.

Allan has also held a first aid certificate for 40 years and a trainer’s qualification for 33 years. This vast bank of knowledge and experience alongside a Level 3 Award in Education and Training Allan now travels the country delivering First Aid and Health and Safety training to various national companies and organisations at a corporate level and a diverse range of students, GP's, teachers, miners, rail workers, mountain guides, sports coaches, and those with learning difficulties.

Allan’s training and mentoring skills extend to his passion for Hillwalking where he has been walking Scotland's hills for almost 40 years, gathering a vast amount of experience. A hill and trail runner, he has completed numerous Ultramarathons. Allan is now a triathlon coach and gym instructor. Allan is also a member of the Mountain Training Association and is a qualified Mountain Leader and accredited to deliver NNAS navigation courses.
