We'll meet at the Duck Pond in Falkland, where Allan will give some up to date information surrounding nutrition and hydration. He'll also have samples of the food and drink he uses, which you are welcome to try. Afterwards, we'll head out onto the trails of the Falkland Estate on a weather dependent route, navigating our way through trees and gorges.
This will be an easy paced run with the emphasis on learning, rather than speed or distance. You’ll receive tips about technique, navigation, hydration and nutrition. Further runs and training sessions can be discussed on an individual basis to meet your ongoing needs.
Bring your usual trail running kit, including full body cover, snacks and drinks and a rucksack or running vest to carry them. We'll finish off in the local cafe for a blether.
